- Informal Assesment :
Mariana:
Is a way for the tachers to observe the students analyzing the development of their learning process. This process refers to writing, spelling, listening and speaking, so the teacher would be able to have a record of each student to know what they can or can't do., This informal assesment is helpful because it provides the essential feedback that a student may need. Using this method, it's not necessary to apply tests to evaluate students.
Cristhian:
Informal assessment is another technique that helps the teacher with the evaluation of the students. This method involves a careful examination of the students’ improvement in several skills like writing, reading, spelling, listening, speaking or presentations as activities all the way through the course. This method is incredibly helpful when it comes to identifying the students’ abilities and their weakness. The teacher can evaluate their students by their performance and development for each skill, based on the participation, activities and homework that the teacher needs to keep always close to exanimate their students for example like checklists, notes, T/Ss conference note, student portfolios, and these material will help the teacher by checking how well the students are doing or improving in their activities and with this record and collected information the teacher can have a final grade for the students at the end of the class.

INFORMAL ASSESSMENT
What would be assessed informally in a normal classroom situation?
We will be working in the linguistic factors such as speaking and writing because we consider that these skills are the basis of a second language student and that will help them in the future readings.
In Speaking we can evaluate the following oral skills: pronunciation, fluency and intonation.
In Writing we will evaluate these abilities: filling the blanks using correct tense of verbs, homeworks and writing journals.
Secondly, we would focus in the non-linguistic factors like participation because these attitudes are the main point for a second language acquisition learner.
Participation is one of most important non-linguistic factors that will help us to know how much are students involved in the class.
Group work will be required in order to motivate students to improve in their activities sharing comments or doubts with partners.
FORMAL ASSESSMENT
What would be assessed formally?
We would assess the next abilities based on development of the students
1. Grammar: This skill will be evaluated with a multiple group and individual activities.
2. Vocabulary: This will be recycled knowledge of the student’s previous classes
3. Individual reading: Students will practice reading when they feel the need to do it. They can practice it at home or in a designated time in the classroom.
4. Writing comprehension: This would be evaluated with a written form test that will include filling the gap exercise and multiple choices.

- Reflection of the unit:
In this unit, we considered that the topic that we worked the most was assessment. It was very practical to know how to assess correctly, and we noticed that it is not as easy and simple as we thought; one, as a teacher, has to consider many aspects of our students in order to evaluate them.
